As one of public television’s newest series, UCook! with Chef Bob teaches a live studio audience a simpler approach to the techniques involved in the art of gourmet cooking.
|UCook!‘s host, Chef Bob Waggoner, is a classically trained French chef and one of the few Americans to be knighted with the “l’Odre du Mérite Agricole” from the French government. He has spent the past 13 years in Charleston, dazzling locals and tourists with his spectacular recipes by creating a new flare of dining he calls “French lowcountry.”|
Most recently, Chef Bob has appeared on The CBS Morning Show, The View, and Wheel of Fortune. He was honored with an invitation by Gourmet Magazine to cook at France’s 10 Greatest Chefs event in June 2008 in New York City. He is the only American to have worked with three of the French Honorees: Gérard Boyer, Pierre Gagnaire and Marc Meneau.
Mills James handles post production editing for the program, along with the creation of branded graphics, including the show’s animated logo. In addition, Mills James’ Web & Interactive group teamed with Gilded Age Films from Charleston, South Carolina, to design and develop the show’s website, www.UCookWithChefBob.com, which features video segments and recipes from the show.
