Cash Explosion

Mills James is home to Cash Explosion, the official Ohio Lottery television game show airing every Saturday evening at 7:30 on twelve stations statewide. One of the nation’s first and longest running lottery shows, Cash Explosion has given away more than $182 million since 1987, and made TV stars of more than 10,000 Ohio Lottery players.

The show is hosted by Cherie McClain, Sharon Bicknell and David McCreary. In each weekly episode, eight studio contestants get to keep everything they win starting from a guaranteed minimum of $5,000, and for returning champions the sky’s the limit from there. Many of the contestants report that their trip to the Cash Explosion studios is the thrill of a lifetime.
