Our Founders

Ken Mills co-founded Mills James in 1984 in Columbus, Ohio with his partner Cameron James. An award-winning writer/producer/ director, Mills’ passion for filmmaking and production drove the company’s evolution into one of the country’s largest independent production companies and leading providers of creative media solutions.

In 1984, co-founder Cameron James brought a rich background in live television and theater, and a keen insight into business communications to the Mills James partnership. His passion for communicating with live audiences resulted in a company that is recognized today as one of the country’s premier producers and strategic planners of corporate meetings and special events.
