Web Project Manager
Department: Web & Interactive
Mills James is seeking experienced project managers to work on a part-time or freelance basis in the creation and implementation of Web projects, beginning with the collection and definition of content, moving through the structure and population of the pieces in question.
Essential Duties or Responsibilities:
- Collection, definition, design and dissemination of content
- Work with client to discover project needs and wants. Communicate these to the project team
- Experience with writing proposals and Statements of Work
- Create, organize and edit content for web sites and interactive projects
- Create and adhere to project timeline
- Communicate with client to ensure all appropriate steps are taken
- Manage resources and budget throughout duration of the project
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:
- Good verbal and written communication skills and time management skills
- Has an appropriate knowledge level of current technologies
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word Office Professional is required
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Knowledge of audio video capabilities is helpful
