Flash Developer

Department: Video & Interactive           

Mills James is seeking freelance multimedia developers who have a strong background in development and the use of clean, organized, modular code to create Flash applications for web, CD, DVD, and Kiosk.

The flash developer will work closely with Mills James producers, designers, and developers in creating and implementing project plans. 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:

  • Ability to determine best information architecture (IA) and user interface (UI)
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe CS3, CS4, and CS5 Suites
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Technologies such as Flash and Flex
  • Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML and DHTML
  • Strong experience with AS 2.0/3.0
  • Experience with source version control software and use of relational databases including MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience creating and utilizing web services
  • After Effects and Maya a plus
