Interactive Producer/Project Manager

The Web & Interactive team at Mills James is seeking an experienced Producer to manage the creation and implementation of a variety of web, mobile and interactive exhibit projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Budget, schedule and manage projects, assigning tasks to resources;
• Communicate with other producers about forecasted work and assign tasks accordingly;
• Work with subject matter experts to determine project tasks and deliverables;
• Guide and mentor internal department staff, including intern team;
• Create, organize and edit content for websites and interactive projects;
• Write inspiring proposals and create bids, attend new business development calls, meetings and presentations with Account Managers to win new project work;
• Manage client expectations throughout the production process;
• Create and adhere to project timeline;
• Manage administrative procedures including the Statements of Work (SOW), scheduling of resources and creating work orders. This will include coordinating with vendors, contractors, talent, and handling associated paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of successful project management experience working in a fast–paced environment;
• Knowledge of current trends;
• Knowledge of web-based and interactive strategies;
• Experience with WordPress, Photoshop and video editing software;
• The proven ability to coordinate and monitor multiple tasks across several projects at one time and meet continuous deadlines through partnering with all administrative and creative departments to guarantee deliverables;
• Experience with creative concepts, resource allocation and budget management;
• Excellent communications and leadership skills.
